About the project: A middle-aged man afflicted with a sensation of floating seeks the curative powers of a mysterious alien healer.

About the filmmaker: Eren Gülfidan is an Istanbul-born, New York-based filmmaker. Her latest short film, Evening News (2019), premiered at the New York Short Film Festival, followed by online screenings on Girls in Film and Director's Library. Her short film Daydreaming (2017) screened at NoBudge Live in New York, We Love Paris Film Festival in Paris, France, and the Lid Off Film Festival in Lucas, Kansas. Eren is currently in post-production for her new sci-fi/fantasy short film, Dorion (working title), a NYSCA film production grant recipient and a Through Her Lens: The Tribeca Chanel Women's Filmmaker Program finalist.
