Two people in an alternate universe experience their relationship deteriorating across decades when one of them finally wonders what's beneath the surface.

Lael Rogers is a Seattle-based writer and director. She grew up in Alaska making DIY movies with a MiniDV camcorder, plenty of paper maché, and some very patient friends. Her films have screened at film festivals across the nation and been featured in Rolling Stone, Film Shortage, and King5 News. Her latest short film THE CLAW, made in partnership with Film Independent  and Visit Seattle, is a Vimeo Staff Pick and was nominated for Best Midnight Short at Palm Springs Shortsfest 2020. Rogers is the co-founder and creative director of Seattle commercial and original content production studio All is Well.
