About the project: The Boat is a road trip comedy about two queer sisters set on a sailboat. The film is an exploration of the absurdity of loss and the reluctantly tenacious support of siblings. Our protagonist Ryan brings her sister Lou on a sailing day trip to distract herself from her painful divorce. But things don’t go according to plan.
